Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (foot) is planning to rest and rehab over the next couple of days before deciding on surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Wentz, who was ruled out indefinitely two days ago with a foot injury he suffered in practice, is opting not to have immediate surgery. The new Colts quarterback is instead opting for rest and rehab in the hope that his foot improves. If it does, he could reportedly be active for Indianapolis' season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. If it doesn't improve, surgery may be required.
Assuming a full season of games, Wentz is the QB17 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
