Deshaun Watson reports to Texans' training camp on Sunday
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was present for the first day of training camp on Sunday.
Watson, who is facing 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, reported to Texans' training camp on Sunday. By doing so, he avoided a daily fine of $50,000. Watson requested a trade earlier in the offseason and is reportedly still set on moving on from the Texans. His status, both with Houston and with the NFL, remains up in the air.
Watson completed 382 of 544 passes last season for 4,823 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions, with 90 rushes for 444 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. The Texans open their 2021 season against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 12th.
