Sio Moore could be in-house linebacker replacement for Colts
Inside linebackers Nate Irving and Sio Moore top the Indianapolis Colts' list of in-house replacements for Jerrell Freeman.
Freeman landed a three-year deal with the Chicago Bears on Saturday, leaving big shoes to fill at inside linebacker. The Colts signed Irving as an insurance policy for D'Qwell Jackson last offseason but knee and wrist injuries limited him to 106 snaps. The Colts could address their need in free agency by signing someone like James Laurinaitis or Stephen Tulloch.
The Colts' defense ranked 18th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
