Brandon Mebane latches on with Chargers
Chargers signed defensive tackle Brandon Mebane, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, to a three-year contract.
A run-stopping specialist, Mebane spent the first nine years of his career in Seattle. He'll be in the middle of a line which was routinely gashed by the run in 2015.
San Diego had a 0.07 Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play in 2015, the second-worst mark in the league in this metric.
