Colts throw in the towel on mega-bust Bjoern Werner
The Indianapolis Colts waived outside linebacker Bjoern Werner.
What It Means:
A truly colossal bust as the 24th overall pick of the 2013 draft, Werner was a healthy scratch six times last season. The German Vernon Gholston, he'll likely be reduced to scrounging for special teams work in free agency. Colts general manager Ryan Grigson has many messes to undo this offseason.
Werner has just 6.5 sacks through 38 NFL games.
