The Oakland Raiders extended a second-round tender to restricted free agent quarterback Matt McGloin.
McGloin entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State, so Oakland had to tender him at the second-round level to ensure they'd keep him. McGloin made six starts as a 2013 rookie. McGloin is Derek Carr's backup.
McGloin has a career 6.9 yards per attempt average on 262 attempts and 11 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. He has a career -0.04 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back in 272 drop backs since 2013.
