Jaguars to keep T.J. Yeldon in every-down back role

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley expects T.J. Yeldon to remain an every-down running back.

What It Means:

"We put a lot on him, and he handled it really well," Bradley said. "He really picked up our protection scheme. For the most part, he was very clean in all the protections. I think you can continue to see him grow." Yeldon missed four games but finished eighth among running backs with 620 snaps. Even if Jacksonville upgrades on Denard Robinson, it shouldn't be a threat to Yeldon's three-down role.

Yeldon picked up 740 rushing yards on 182 carries, as well as 279 receiving yards on 36 catches. His 8.89 Total Net Expected Points ranked 21st among running backs with at least 150 opportunities in 2015.
