Denzel Ward activated for Browns ahead of Divisional Round
The Cleveland Browns activated defensive back Denzel Ward from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Ward and fellow corner Kevin Johnson were both activated. They will help in the Browns' efforts to contain Tyreek Hill and the Chiefs' other talented pass-catchers on Sunday in the Divisional Round.
Denzel Ward earned the No. 21 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus during the regular season among corners who played at least 100 defensive snaps. Per numberFire's NFL Heat Map, the Chiefs have the highest implied total (33.3 points) in the Divisional Round.
