Rams sign Blake Bortles off Denver's practice squad on Monday
The Los Angeles Rams have reportedly signed quarterback Blake Bortles to the team's active roster for Week 17's contest against the Arizona Cardinals.
What It Means:
Bortles will serve as John Wolford's backup after Jared Goff was labeled as doubtful with a broken right thumb.
With an inexperienced quarterback under center, expect the Rams to utilize a run-heavy attack after the Cardinals allowed 227 rushing yards in Week 16's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
