Football Team's Terry McLaurin (ankle) out for Week 16
Washington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin will miss the team's Week 16 game against the Carolina Panthers with an ankle injury.
McLaurin appears to have aggravated the ankle injury he played through in Week 15 and will now miss this week's fantasy championship game while he recovers. The Football Team have a realistic shot at clinching an NFC East division title this weekend (and with it a playoff berth), so they would be wise not to take any chances with their star receiver.
The Football Team's passing game has run through tight end Logan Thomas, who has averaged 10.7 targets per game over the past three weeks. With McLaurin sidelined and no truly reliable wide receivers behind him, Thomas could once again crest 10 targets in Week 16. Our models project Thomas to score 8.3 fantasy points this week. His salary on FanDuel is $6,000.
