San Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens (elbow) was placed on injured reserve on Friday.
What It Means:
Mullens will need Tommy John surgery after the 49ers' quarterback suffered an elbow injury in Week 15. Expect C.J. Beathard to start under center for San Francisco.
Beathard's Week 16 projection against the Arizona Cardinals includes 21.4 completions for 238.0 yards and 1.4 touchdowns.
