Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (groin) has a 50/50 chance to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Carr was dealing with a "pretty significant" groin tear, but he reportedly still has a chance to play against the Dolphins in Week 16. If Carr is ruled out, Marcus Mariota will remain under center for the Raiders in a must-win showdown with Miami.
Mariota added 0.33 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback on Thursday night, more than doubling what Carr has averaged this season (0.16). It will be a tough matchup for both quarterbacks against a Dolphins defense that enters Week 15 allowing the eighth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position and ranks No. 3 against the pass in numberFire's scheduled-adjusted metrics.
