Mike Williams sidelined for Chargers with back issue
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Williams (back) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate for Thursday's Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Williams injured his back on the opening drive of the Chargers' win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and didn't return. He only has a few days to heal before the Chargers' divisional matchup on Thursday. Jalen Guyton and Tyron Johnson will take on additional work if Williams can't go.
Johnson finished fourth on the team in targets (7) behind Keenan Allen (11), Austin Ekeler (9), and Hunter Henry (8) in Week 14. Williams is averaging the 10th-most yards per reception (15.9) in the league this season.
