Matthew Stafford (ribs) reportedly in doubt for Lions in Week 15
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford's (ribs) status is "in doubt" for Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Stafford was forced to leave in the fourth quarter of the Lions' Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers after taking a hard hit. Chase Daniel came off the bench in relief on Sunday and would start versus the Titans if Stafford is unavailable. Daniel's last start came in 2013. Stafford completed 24-of-34 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown versus the Packers before leaving. If he can't play, it would be a significant downgrade for Marvin Jones and T.J. Hockenson.
Stafford scored 14.4 FanDuel points in Week 14. After Stafford exited, Jones, Hockenson, and D'Andre Swift each led the Lions with a 33.3 percent target share. The Titans are allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position this season.
