Seahawks say Chris Carson still dealing with foot issue

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson isn't 100 percent recovered from the foot injury that kept him out for much of November, per head coach Pete Carroll.

What It Means:

"He's making it to the game is what he's doing it right now," Carroll said of Carson. "His foot is still sore but he can play, so you can see, he looked good, but it's just not 100 percent and so we're trying to not overload him. ... We've got a lot of games left and we're just trying to make sure that he can play and contribute, which is what he's doing." Carson seemed fine during the Seahawks' loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, turning 16 touches into a season-high 110 yards and a pass-catching touchdown on a 58.3 percent offensive snap share. He out-carried Carlos Hyde 13-2 and averaged 5.0 yards per carry. If Carson still isn't at full health, then he should only improve throughout the fantasy football playoffs. The Seahawks will host the New York Jets in Week 14.

Carson scored 18.5 FanDuel points in Week 13 and is averaging 15.7 per game (RB8). The Jets are 17th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the running back position.
