The Houston Texans activated running back David Johnson (concussion) from the injured reserve list.
Johnson should be eligible to play in the Texans' Week 13 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Johnson hasn't played since the team's Week 9 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he had been operating as the team's clear-cut lead back until that point.
While David Johnson was sidelined, teammate Duke Johnson stepped in and assumed most of the running back work, with double-digit touches in each game. It's likely David Johnson resumes his lead back role, but Duke could pry more touches away from his teammate going forward.
