Seahawks' Rashaad Penny (ACL) will return to practice next week
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said running back Rashaad Penny (ACL) will "for sure" return to practice next week.
Penny hasn't practiced yet since tearing his ACL last November, but has been nearing a return for a few weeks now. If Penny does return to practice next week, the Seahawks will have three weeks to activate him from the injured reserve.
Even with injuries to seemingly their entire running back group, the Seahawks did not rush Penny back from his injury. It's unclear what role he would have behind Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, but the former first-round pick rushed for an efficient 5.7 yards per carry in 2019 prior to his injury.
