Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) limited at Dolphins practice
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
Tagovailoa also practiced on a limited basis last week before being ruled out. The Dolphins are optimistic that Tagovailoa will be able to return for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals after only one absence. Ryan Fitzpatrick will make another start if Tagovailoa is unavailable. DeVante Parker was targeted a team-high 14 times last week by Fitzpatrick.
The Dolphins have earned their two worst passing grades from Pro Football Focus this season in two of Tua's four starts. He's adding 0.08 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback this season, compared to 0.18 for Fitzpatrick. Parker is averaging just 6.8 FanDuel points with Tua as a starter and 11.7 with Fitzpatrick.
