Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) returns to Dolphins practice
Miami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) returned to practice as a limited participant Wednesday.
Ahmed should be able to return for Sunday's Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals after sitting out last week. Myles Gaskin (knee) is also on the verge of returning, so the Dolphins may use a two-man approach in the backfield. The Bengals are allowing the third-most rushing yards per game to running backs this season. DeAndre Washington and Matt Breida split backfield duties for the Dolphins last week.
Ahmed ranks 46th and Gaskin ranks 71st in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry out of 81 running backs with at least 25 carries this season. The Bengals are allowing the 17th-most FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season.
