Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is reportedly "beat up" heading into Week 13's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Gary Kubiak.
What It Means:
Asked about Cook this week, Kubiak said "He’s just beat up. He’s been hit pretty hard the last couple of weeks taking some poundings. It’s at that point of the season so we’ve got to get him freshened up this week & get him back to being himself. He’s just kind of beat up" It remains to be seen how the Vikings plan to get Cook "freshened up" but Kubiak's comments could indicate a limited workload for Cook in Week 13, with Alexander Mattison seeing more touches. Assuming a regular workload, our models project Cook for 27.4 touches in Week 13.
