Cole Beasley praises Bills' play-calling

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley praised offensive coordinator Brian Daboll for his unpredictable play-calling.

What It Means:

Beasley threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Gabriel Davis on a trick play in the Bills' Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. "I think it's just the timing in which he calls them," Beasley said. "[Daboll] has done a good job of mixing it up, and he does a good job of keeping them off-balance, and that was one of those times right there." Beasley only caught 2 passes on 4 targets for 25 yards on Sunday, but he's still averaging 7.3 targets in three games without John Brown (calf) this season. Brown will remain out for at least the next two games. The Bills play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night in Week 13.

Beasley is averaging 11.1 FanDuel points when Brown is inactive. He's second on the Bills over the last two games with a 24.6 percent target share. The 49ers are allowing the ninth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season.
