Justin Jefferson scores twice in Vikings victory
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson caught 7 passes on 13 targets for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 28-27, Week 12 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Jefferson drew a season-high 13 targets as the Vikings were without Adam Thielen (COVID-19) and Irv Smith (groin/back), and Dalvin Cook missed some time in the second half with an ankle injury. The first-round pick has scored three times in the past two games and is averaging 97.0 yards over the last three. Jefferson should be able to put up another impressive line in Week 13, with or without Thielen, against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that Jarvis Landry just tagged for 8 catches, 143 yards, and a touchdown.
Jefferson scored 22.5 FanDuel points in Week 12 and is averaging the second-most FanDuel points among all receivers the past three weeks behind Tyreek Hill. The Jaguars are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season.
