Giants' Daniel Jones expected to miss some time with "pretty bad" hamstring injury

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is expected to be sidelined with a "pretty bad" hamstring injury he suffered during Week 12's win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

What It Means:

Jones left Week 12's game against the Bengals with a hamstring injury, came back, and attempted to play through it, but ultimately was forced from the game. Initial reports indicate that the injury is relatively severe and could sideline Jones for "some time". Additional tests are scheduled for Monday and should provide more information. Colt McCoy took over for Jones against the Bengals and would likely fill in for the former first-rounder while he is sidelined. The Giants play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13.

Jones completed 16 of 27 attempts for 213 yards before exiting Week 12's game.
