49ers' Raheem Mostert (ankle) designated to return from IR
San Francisco 49ers' running back Raheem Mostert was designated to return from the injured list on Tuesday.
Mostert's 21-day window to resume practicing is now open, and he could return as early as this week. Jeff Wilson (ankle) was also designated to return, and Tevin Coleman (knee) could also be ready soon. Mostert's return would be a massive boost for the 49ers running game, but he would face an extremely difficult matchup against a Los Angeles Rams defense ranked 3rd against running backs in numberFire's advanced stats. Our models expect Mostert to see 15.2 touches against the Rams this week.
The 49ers are 7.0-point underdogs against the Rams in Week 12. Their implied team total of 19.25 points is the fourth-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map. Mostert's salary is $7,000, and he is the RB18 in our weekly rankings.
