Chris Godwin finds end zone in Buccaneers' loss to Rams

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin caught 7 passes on 10 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24, Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night.

What It Means:

Godwin was ahead of Mike Evans and behind Antonio Brown in terms of targets, catches, and yards. The targets set a season-high and Godwin scored his first touchdown in nearly a month, but his 5.3 yards per target set a new season-low. He's averaging just 9.1 yards per target and 11.3 yards per reception with Tom Brady at the helm after setting career-bests with 11.0 yards per target and 15.5 yards per catch in 2019. Godwin and the Buccaneers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12.

Godwin scored 14.8 FanDuel points on Monday night and is averaging 12.1 FanDuel points per game this season. He has the lowest average depth of target (7.9 yards) on the Bucs among all receivers with double-digit targets as Brady has limited Godwin to the short game. Godwin is the WR28 in numberFire's Week 12 fantasy rankings.
