Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will not play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
It was originally reported that Bridgewater would be active, but that was backtracked quickly. The veteran passer is dealing with an MCL sprain and will be held out as a result. P.J. Walker will get the start in his place, per Schefter, hoping to claw the Panthers back into convention after losing 5 straight games. D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson will likely be less viable in fantasy formats.
Entering Week 11, the Lions ranked 30th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
