Seahawks' Greg Olsen potentially out for season with foot injury

Seattle Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen has been diagnosed with a ruptured left plantar fascia.

What It Means:

Olsen suffered the injury during the Seahawks' Week 11 Thursday night victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He's reportedly expected to miss at least two months but may be able to return for a deep playoff run. Jacob Hollister and Will Dissly should see more work without Olsen in the lineup.

Olsen has the third-largest target share (10.1) on the Seahawks behind Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. He also leads all of Seattle's tight ends with a 62.4 percent offensive snap share and has run more routes (267) than Dissly (116) and Hollister (76) combined. Hollister is pacing the trio in yards per route run (1.6).
