Duke Johnson (illness) returns to Texans practice
Houston Texans running back Duke Johnson (illness) returned to practice Thursday.
Johnson is on track to play Week 11 against the New England Patriots on Sunday after being held out of Wednesday's practice. He rushed 14 times for 54 yards and was held without a catch in his first turn as the Texans' starting running back in place of David Johnson (concussion). Duke may not find running lanes much easier to come by versus a Patriots defense that just held the Baltimore Ravens below 120 rushing yards for only the third time this season.
Duke is averaging just 4.2 yards per touch this season after gaining at least 6.5 yards per touch each of the previous four seasons. He's never averaged fewer than 5.5 yards per touch during his NFL career. numberFire's models expect Johnson to score 12.1 FanDuel points versus the Patriots. He's the RB15 in our Week 11 fantasy rankings and has a salary of $6,000 on FanDuel's main slate.
