Panthers' Mike Davis (thumb) practicing in full Week 11

Carolina Panthers running back Mike Davis (thumb) is listed as a full participant on Wednesday's injury report for Week 11 versus the Detroit Lions.

What It Means:

Davis picked up a thumb injury during last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that caused him to leave the game. He should be fine for this Sunday's matchup with the Lions. Davis has played over 70.0 percent of the offensive snaps in every game without Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) that he was fully healthy for, but his volume and production has dwindled in recent starts.

Davis averaged 22.8 opportunities and 18.7 FanDuel points in the first four games McCaffrey was injured but that's dropped to 13.0 opportunities and 6.9 FanDuel points over the last three. He has a great opportunity to return to those earlier numbers in Week 11 versus a Lions defense allowing the most FanDuel points per game to the running back position. He's the RB9 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and has a salary of $7,400 on FanDuel's main slate.
