Nick Foles (hip) day-to-day during Bears' bye

Chicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles is considered day-to-day after suffering a strain and contusion in his hip/glute in the final minute of Monday night's 19-13, Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, per head coach Matt Nagy.

What It Means:

“I was in there when they were working on him, and it definitely seemed a lot better than I thought,” Nagy said. “When I was on the field, I thought it was going to be a lot more significant.” The Bears are on bye this week, so Foles will have nearly two weeks to recover for a Week 12 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Foles set season-lows across the board Monday with 15 completions on 26 attempts for 106 yards and an interception as the Bears managed just 149 yards of offense. Mitchell Trubisky was inactive Monday night with a shoulder issue, so Tyler Bray came in at the end to replace Foles. The entire offense would get a downgrade if Foles is unable to play coming out of the bye.

Foles scored a season-low 3.4 FanDuel points on Monday and joined Blake Bortles and Mitchell Trubisky as the only quarterbacks in the past seven seasons to throw at least 25 passes for fewer than 110 yards. He averaged 289.3 yards and 16.0 FanDuel points from Weeks 7-9
