Chris Carson (foot) uncertain for Seahawks on Thursday

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson is uncertain for Thursday night's Week 11 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, per head coach Pete Carroll.

What It Means:

"Chris is working to get back," Carroll said. "He’s trying to make it. Carlos [Hyde] (hamstring) is a little bit ahead of him now." Carson and Hyde have both missed the past three games. Third-round rookie DeeJay Dallas served as the Seahawks' workhorse in Week 8, but then he and Travis Homer split the backfield in Week 9 before free-agent pickup Alex Collins led the way in Week 10. It doesn't sound like Carson will be cleared in time for Thursday night, but he could be back for Week 12. His return will likely render all of the Seahawks' other backs irrelevant for fantasy purposes.

Carson is averaging 17.9 FanDuel points in his five healthy games this season, which would be fifth-most among all running backs. He is averaging the 10th-most yards after contact among all backs with at least 50 carries this year, per Pro Football Focus, and has earned their seventh-best offensive grade among qualified backs.
