Golden Tate (discipline) expected to return for Giants Week 10

New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate (team discipline) is expected to return for Week 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, per head coach Joe Judge.

What It Means:

Tate was kept out of the Giants' Week 9 win over the Washington Football Team after publicly expressing his frustration with his lack of targets this season. The 32-year-old veteran has only 4 catches on 6 targets the last three games and his 4.2 targets per game are the lowest since Tate's second year in the league back in 2011 with the Seattle Seahawks.

Tate is averaging 6.6 FanDuel points per game this season and fewer yards per route run (1.2) than Sterling Shepard (1.7) and Darius Slayton (1.5). The Eagles are allowing the fourth-fewest yards per game to the wide receiver position this season.
