Devontae Booker

Devontae Booker leads Raiders with 68 rushing yards in win

Las Vegas Raiders running back Devontae Booker rushed 8 times for 68 yards and 1 touchdown in a 31-26, Week 9 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

What It Means:

Booker wasn't targeted in the passing game but he set a season-high in carries and rush yards while out-producing Josh Jacobs (65 rushing yards) on a smaller workload. More than a third of Booker's production came on a 23-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He still only played 13 snaps, less than half as many as Jacobs, so Booker isn't guaranteed to see a larger role in Week 10 versus the Denver Broncos.

Booker scored 12.80 FanDuel points in Week 9 and added 0.60 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry, compared to 0.18 for Jacobs. The Broncos currently have the 11th-best rushing defense, per numberFire's advanced team rankings.
