Los Angeles Rams kicker Sam Sloman was waived on Tuesday, following the team's win over the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
Sloman will be replaced by Kai Forbath. A seventh-round pick in this year's NFL draft, Sloman connected on 18 of 21 extra points (85.7%) and 8 of 11 (72.7%) field goal attempts before being cut. His 72.7% field goal percentage was sixth-worst in the league (min 10 attempts), while his 85.7% extra point percentage was second worst.
The Rams are 4.0-point favorites against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. Their implied team total of 24.75 points is the tenth-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
