Darren Waller focusing on how Raiders can improve
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller said there are a lot of areas where he and the team can improve following Sunday's 45-20, Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Waller caught 6 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown on 9 targets on Sunday. He led the Raiders in catches and tied Nelson Agholor for the team-lead in targets. Waller is pacing all tight ends in the league in targets (9.3) and receptions (6.7) per game. He will remain a top option for Derek Carr in Week 8 when the Raiders face the Cleveland Browns.
Waller scored 14.0 FanDuel points in Week 7 and is averaging 11.8 FanDuel points per game (TE3). He has the fourth-lowest average depth of target (5.8 yards) among any tight end with at least 20 targets this season. The Browns have allowed the fifth-most receptions (40) to opposing tight ends this season.
