Mike Evans limited to 37 yards as Buccaneers bash Raiders
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught 2 passes on 2 targets for 37 yards in a 45-20, Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Evans has totaled 47 yards on 3 catches and 4 targets the past two weeks. For the season, he now has four games with 2 or fewer catches and he's only reached 50 yards twice. In the four games Evans has played with Chris Godwin, he's totaled 51 yards on 12 targets. Antonio Brown's (suspension) expected debut in Week 9 will likely only further cut into Evans' target share. He will get a plus draw in Week 8 next Monday night when the Buccaneers face the New York Giants.
Evans scored 4.7 FanDuel points in Week 7 and is averaging 11.5 FanDuel points per game. His 8.2 yards per target are a three-year low. The Giants have the No. 23 pass defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings.
