Cole Beasley clears century mark for Buffalo

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley caught 11 passes on 12 targets for 112 yards in an 18-10, Week 7 win over the New York Jets.

What It Means:

Beasley drew one more target than Stefon Diggs while leading the Bills in yards, catches, and looks. He previously hadn't drawn more than 7 targets in any game this season and the yards set a new career-high. Beasley benefitted from consistent check-downs from Josh Allen as the Jets were able to apply pressure throughout the contest. He could be heavily-targeted again in Week 8 if the New England Patriots use a similar defensive approach and if John Brown (knee) is still banged up.

Beasley scored a season-high 16.7 FanDuel points in Week 7 and is averaging 11.2 FanDuel points per game (WR30). His 9.6 yards per target are a career-best. The Patriots have the No. 15 pass defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings.
