Chris Godwin goes for season-highs in Buccaneers win
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin caught 9 passes on 9 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in a 45-20, Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Godwin led the Buccaneers in receptions and tied Scotty Miller for the team lead in targets. It was Godwin's best game of the season as he continues to return to full health after dealing with a hamstring injury. He will be a primary target for Tom Brady again in Week 8 against the New York Giants on Monday night. Godwin's target share could take a hit after that once Antonio Brown (suspension) makes his Buccaneers debut.
Godwin scored a season-best 19.3 FanDuel points in Week 7 and is averaging 13.1 FanDuel points per game (WR22). The Giants have the No. 23 pass defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings.
