D'Andre Swift to have expanded role in Lions Week 7 game
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift is expected to have an expanded role in Week 7 after his breakout performance in Week 6.
What It Means:
Swift was dominant in the team's Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, putting up 123 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 touches. The Lions were slow to ramp Swift up despite selecting him 35th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he is now on the precipice of becoming the team's lead back.
While veteran Adrian Peterson was still heavily involved in Week 6, Swift's burst and talent was undeniable in that game, and even the stubborn Lions have to admit what they have in Swift. He'll take on the Atlanta Falcons this week and is projected to score 11.7 fantasy points with a $6,100 salary on FanDuel.
