Packers' Aaron Jones (calf) not expected to play in Sunday's Week 7 game
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones isn't expected to suit up in the team's Week 7 game against the Houston Texans, according to Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Jones is officially a game-time decision to suit up, but according to Wood, the team isn't looking to push their star rusher into a possible injury recurrence. Assuming Jones can't go, expect Jamaal Williams to be the de-facto starter in the backfield, but rookie AJ Dillon could play a sizable role as well.
The Texans have been porous on the ground through 6 weeks, ranking 27th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
