Richard Rodgers gains 85 yards for Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Richard Rodgers caught 6 passes on 8 targets for 85 yards in a 22-21, Week 7 win over the New York Giants on Thursday night.

What It Means:

Rodgers led the Eagles in receptions and yards while drawing the second-most targets behind Travis Fulgham (11). It was the second-most yards of Rodgers' seven-year career and nearly as many as he had in the first six games combined (99). Rodgers is expected to be the Eagles' No. 1 tight end again in Week 8 versus the Dallas Cowboys with Zach Ertz (ankle) and Dallas Goedert (ankle), as well as a handful of receivers, still on the shelf.

Rodgers scored 11.5 FanDuel points on Thursday. Looking ahead to Week 8, the Cowboys are currently allowing the 12th-most FanDuel points per game (11.9) to opposing tight ends this season.
