DeSean Jackson (ankle) reportedly out for Eagles multiple weeks

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has a high-ankle sprain, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

What It Means:

Jackson will likely be placed on injured reserve and miss a mandatory three weeks, but a high-ankle sprain typically requires 4-6 weeks of recovery. He suffered the injury while returning a late punt during the Eagles' comeback win over the New York Giants on Thursday night. It was Jackson's first game since Week 3 due to a hamstring issue. Prior to leaving, Jackson caught 3 passes on 5 targets for 34 yards. The 33-year-old wideout has appeared in just 7-of-23 possible games since rejoining the Eagles last year.

Jackson finished with a 12.2 percent target share on Thursday, tied for fourth-highest on the Eagles. Travis Fulgham led the way at 26.8 percent (11 targets) and Richard Rodgers was second with a 19.5-percent share (8). Fulgham finished last on the team in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
