New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (toe) could be a game-time decision for the team's Week 7 tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles.
What It Means:
Shepard missed the past four games with a turf toe injury, but appears to be nearing a return. The Giants' passing offense has struggled mightily in 2020 and could certainly benefit from the return of one of their most reliable offensive pieces.
Shepard might not be able to make the Giants a competitive football team on his own, but he'll certainly be a massive upgrade for a team that played Austin Mack on 75% of its offensive snaps in Week 6. Shepard had 6 targets in his only full game of the season and caught each of those targets for 47 yards.
