Vikings' Justin Jefferson hauls in 9 receptions for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 6 loss to Falcons
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson caught 9 of 11 targets for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 23-40 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6.
Jefferson and the entire Vikings offense capitalized on garbage time after falling behind big early, thanks to three interceptions from Kirk Cousins. Down 23-0 in the third quarter, Jefferson caught his first touchdown, an 11-yard reception, before adding a 49-yard score in the final two minutes of the game. It was an excellent bounce-back performance for Jefferson after his quiet game against Seattle in Week 5. Jefferson and the Vikings are on bye in Week 7 before a meeting with the Green Bay Packers in Week 8.
Jefferson scored 35.1 FanDuel points in Week 6, the most of any wide receiver on Sunday's early slate, and 24.4 more than numberFire's projection (10.7).
