Jets designate Denzel Mims (hamstrings) to return from injured reserve
New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims has been designated to return from the injured reserve by the team.
Mims has been on injured reserve for nearly a month after suffering injuries to both hamstrings, and he's finally ready to return to practice after a long layoff. He'll have 21 days to get back into game form before he must be pulled up to the active roster, though he has a chance of suiting up this weekend against the Miami Dolphins.
Miami's secondary has bordered on elite status through Week 5, ranking 5th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
