Bills' Matt Barkley takes over for Josh Allen with Bills down 26 on Tuesday Night Football
Buffalo Bills quarterback Matt Barkley entered the game in relief of Josh Allen with less than 2 minutes left in Week 5's game against the Tennessee Titans.
With the game out of hand, the Bills benched Josh Allen and turned to Matt Barkley for the final drive of the game. Allen had a night to forget on Tuesday, completing 26 of 41 attempts for 263 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, with 4 carries for 18 rushing yards. It was a sharp departure from Allen's exceptional start to the season, with the junior quarterback struggling right from the start, throwing an interception (that was hardly his fault) on his first drive. Allen's connection with Stefon Diggs remained strong, with the duo connecting on 10 of 16 targets for 106 yards.
Josh Allen and the Bills will face the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football in Week 6.
