Gruden hopeful Bryan Edwards (ankle) returns after Raiders' bye
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is hopeful that wide receiver Bryan Edwards will be able to return after the team's Week 6 bye.
Edwards got his ankle rolled up on after a making a big play in the Raiders' Week 3 loss to the New England Patriots and hasn't been able to play since. Zay Jones and Nelson Agholor were fine in Edwards' and Henry Ruggs' absences, but it's clear that both veterans offer little upside.
So far on the season, the third-round rookie has caught 5 of 6 targets for 99 yards, boasting an impressive 16.5 yards per target. Assuming he can get healthy over the team's bye, he'll likely operate as the team's WR2 behind Ruggs when he returns.
