New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook (groin) is active for the team's Monday night tilt against the Los Angeles Chargers.
What It Means:
Cook missed a game and a half with the injury and is now poised to return against a Los Angeles Chargers defense allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends despite playing a relatively weak slate of opposing tight ends so far this season.
With Michael Thomas (ankle, suspension) inactive, the Saints could look feature Cook as a receiver in the middle of the field with Emmanuel Sanders and Tre'Quan Smith out wide. Our models project the veteran to score 9.5 fantasy points in tonight's game. FanDuel has set his salary at $6,200.
