Jets' Chris Hogan suffers high ankle sprain in Week 5
New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan suffered a high ankle sprain in the team's Week 5 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Hogan will miss at least the next 2-3 weeks if further testing confirms this initial diagnosis. The Jets already had paper-thin depth at the wide receiver position, so they'll feel Hogan's loss even if he's caught just 14 passes for 118 yards so far this season.
With the Jets already missing Breshad Perriman (ankle) and now losing Hogan, the passing-game volume could lean even more heavily towards Jamison Crowder, who leads the entire team in receiving yards with 335 despite missing 2 games with an injury of his own. The Jets aren't a very fantasy-friendly team, but Crowder is a solid option in PPR formats.
