Texans' Deshaun Watson breaks out against Jacksonville in Week 5
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson couldn't be stopped in the team's 30-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
What It Means:
Is it a coincidence that Watson's best game of the season came immediately after the firing of Bill O'Brien? Only he could answer that. Watson wasn't perfect - he had a pair of interceptions, though one was a deflection - but he gained 359 yards in the air while throwing for three touchdowns. He also racked up 25 yards on the ground. The sample is small, but if this is the new Watson, he'll be a dominant fantasy option.
Watson finished with 26.86 FanDuel points, ranking 4th among all passers in Week 5. Our models currently project him for 20.1 against a tougher Titans defense.
